HEAD CLINICIAN: Jared Ronai, MVNU Head Men's Basketball CoachJared Ronai has completed seven seasons as the head men’s basketball coach at Mount Vernon Nazarene University. During his time with the program he has guided the Cougars to an average of 18 wins per season. In 18-19 he tied a program record of 27 wins and advanced to the Sweet 16 in Soux Falls, SD. In 2019-20 Ronai led MVNU to its second straight 20-win season and had the Cougars ranked in the top 25 the majority of the season, climbing to as high number 4. Before MVNU Ronai was the recruiting coordinator and assistant coach at Division 1 UNC Asheville as well as the associate head coach at Ashland University.
CLINICIAN: Kristin Ronai, Former D1 Women's Basketball Player
Kristin Ronai, wife of head coach Jared Ronai, is the Director of Compliance for the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA). Kristin is a University of Dayton Hall of Famer as is considered one of the best woman’s basketball players in program history. She also played in high school at Warsaw River View, winning two State Championships as well earning two Miss Ohio Basketball awards.
CAMP COACH: Brett Vipperman, MVNU Assistant Men's Basketball CoachBrett Vipperman played for MVNU from 2015-2019. He was Coach Ronai’s very first recruit and was a 3-time All-Crossroads League selection. During his senior campaign he led his team to 27 wins and a Sweet 16 appearance. After graduation he started his coaching career at Covenent College in Georgia before returning to MVNU as an assistant coach.
